by 2007 27,500 immigrants will be in detention each night .... an estimated total annual cost of nearly $1 billion. Sounds like an expensive way to send some folks off on a vacation to Mexico so we can eagerly await their imminent return. Like, more expensive than having them contribute to our state and federal tax revenues and saving social security.
